Spotlight does not find apps

About once a week, Spotlight loses track of my apps. I use Spotlight to look for an app, but no apps are displayed. Power cycling my iPad Air2 or going into setting and toggling applications on and off within the Spotlight settings restores the functionality for a week or so. Has anyone found a fix?

Never had this problem. I don't really use it one a daily basis but I will more to see if I do get the issue.

I have also had this happen. The app is there and I can find it on the screen or folder. Spotlight cannot. It happens rarely, but it happens!

I have use some for looking for my apps, haven't seen an issue so far.

Happen to me also normally a reboot fixes or force closing apps then it works again

The most effective fix I've found is to scroll,back and forth a couple pages and search again. At this point Spotlight "sees" the apps.
