I have an iPhone 6+, an ipad air 2 and a MBA, all using latest OS versions.
The instant Hotspot function works well with my MBA as I always see the personal Hotspot from my iPhone. However I have many difficulties connecting to my ipad. Most of the time I don't even see the personal Hotspot and when I do see it, it seldom connects.
I have wifi and Bluetooth on on both devices and they are on the same iCloud account. I have tried to turn personal Hotspot on and off, change the name of the ipad, reset settings...but to no avail. Sometimes it works for a few days, but it is really erratic.
Anyone has managed to have it work consistently? This is really frustrating!
