Can you explain how to stream movies to my iPhone 6 Using Infuse 3?

I been trying for a week now to stream movies and other IMDb to my iPhone 6 and my MacBook Air only 2 months old. I like XBMC but I got this app infuse 3 but have no idea how to work FTP files or servers I just don't wanna say I spent 20 bucks on this and don't want it to be a wash.
