Double Charges from Apple Pay

Seems some people are getting double charged using Apple Pay. However, digging deeper, it seems to only be BoA customers. I have Chase and everything has been working perfect.

I have used my American Express card twice now and no double charges.

What I do notice is if I pull the phone away too soon from the reader it does show a charge of $0.00 and I have to do it again.

I actually purchased something on the Apple Store app the night before last and it initially showed as a double charge. But my American Express transactions just show it as being charged once. Been processed and everything.

I think its my fault it shows up twice. I pull the phone away from the reader before the beep indicating the transaction is completed.

This happened with an in-app purchase for me. I have yet to use the NFC on the phone with a reader.

Make sure you are checking you transaction history from either you bank's app or the website. According to article, the double charges weren't showing on the passbook app but on the bank's system.
