Speaker always on??

I noticed that while my phone is unlocked... The speaker is always on. U can hear a little hiss from it? Put it to your ear... Does yours do that? I have the 4s

Bahaha ok. 10minutes it's been on... Niw it decides to turn off?? Wait.. It's on again!!?

My 4S doesn't have a noise coming from the speaker when it's on.

Open imessage, then type.. now listen. It seems that once it makes a noise ,the speaker stays on. Sometimes for a looong while. always seems to stop if you lock it.

I've just done that and it shuts off once I've finished typing.
