Alarm not working correctly

I have an Iphone 6 running ios 8.0.2.
I've been using an alarm sound that I downloaded a couple of years ago on my iPhone 5. The alarm sound is about 20 seconds long.
Prior to iOS8, the alarm sound would run in a loop...it would repeat. On ios8, it will only run the 20 seconds then stop.
Is anyone else noticed this? Any idea how I can get the sound to repeat?

When you select A different alarm sound does it still stop repeating?

Yes. They all stop repeating/looping. The track will play but will not repeat

Try to reset the settings. Go to settings app > general > reset > reset all settings

Unfortunately that did not fix it. Has anyone noticed this in ios8 with alarm sounds that aren't native to iOS?

I have not noticed but I think my clip is longer than 20 sec and I normally turn it off by then and honestly I use my pebble for my alarm

Mine is 30 sec and it plays over and over and I don't know when its supposed to stop. I'll be in the shower when it goes off and it never stops

Mine played continuously on the iPhone 5 and ios7 as well. It doesn't on the iPhone 6 with iOS8

same here. Alarm fail every morning since I have a iphone 6.

alarm dont go off. WHen i wake up, i touch the screen/ ID then when screen goes on, alarm triggers!!

for a $800 phone, it is very poor

I use my iPhone 6 as my sole alarm without issue of it going off. It even goes off when in silent mode. I do not know how to get the ringer to loop. I'm usually up before the song I have set to play finishes.
