Is anyone having issues with DTMF tomes in iOS 8? I can dial into conference calls. When I enter the code it doesn't recognize the input (tones). I didn't have this problem with iOS 7

I've wiped my device twice and still have the same problem

    Anyone else having this issue?

No, not a problem here, for instance when I use a numeric password to listen to my voice mail calls.

I found out the hard way today when I attempted to join a conference call. I entered the participant code, and the phone system read back the numbers to me, which included extra zeros between the actual numbers that were punched in. I called Apple and am now going through a factory reset. Please let me know if you've made any progress to resolve the issue.

I had the same problem dialing into my banks customer service. What I found was that I could not have the speakerphone on. On speakerphone, it wouldnt recognize the numbers. With speakerphone off, it worked fine.

I call into 2 different work team's conference calls each week. I use my iPhone 6 Plus (previously did so with my iPhone 5S) with iOS 7.1.2 and now iOS 8.0.2 without incident. I am always on speaker phone.

What iPhones are you using? The system reset did not help. Using and not using the speakerphone did not help. I still have the 4S, so I'm wondering if getting the 6 or 6+ will resolve the problem.

Yes, thank you. I'm wondering about the other people who posted here as well. I'm just curious if purchasing a new iPhone 6 will take care of the problem.

I just purchased the iPhone 6 and tested the conference call line. I was able to enter the participant's code, so it appears the particular problem I had had to do with the ios8 and the iPhone 4S.

Have an iPhone 6 and I cannot make the DTMF tones to register when I try to verify my phone for Google Voice. Many Google searches have turned up nothing that works for me.

The DMTF issues seems to be caused by using LTE Voice on the iPhone 6. I was able to resolve this issue by changing my LTE settings.

Go to: Settings > Cellular > Enable LTE

Change the setting from Voice and Data to Data Only

    Reboot your phone.

    Problem Solved!!
