I haven't noticed that. Battery seems about the same on iOS 8.0.2

I did the same thing. Completely wiped my phone and started as a new device. The battery is charging as I write this. Good luck

The clock app on my iPhone is live and the arms move according to the second. Did iOS always do this? Not sure because I usually used android and never noticed on my iPad.

Yes they have. It's more prominent now in IOS 8, the hands are now bold.

Anyone else having random cell service issues with 8.0.2? I updated last night but really haven't had a chance to use my phone much until about an hour ago. In that time I've lost service 4 times for about 10 to 20 seconds each time. It could be service in the area since I'm camping at the coast but signal, for being 4G, isn't that bad. Funny it happen once while looking at the bug report thread. Lol

I'm having that issue but I just switched to cricket and they don't have the best coverage where I live. I thought it was cricket., but maybe it's my iPhone. I'm going to restore tomorrow.

No. But I'm using SwiftKey. I never tried to type there while on the stock keyboard.

Or you can try to drain down you phone battery and charge it fully. Ive done this and my battery is back tp to normal, after i update to ios 8 i get only 5 hrs used and 7 hrs standby

My battery is still draining more than it should. I am removing the Yahoo widget and Sports Center, and see what happens.
This phone is approaching a year old, maybe a Genius Bar appointment might not hurt.

I had it once and I lost my 3g connection at the same time, where it normally shows 3g it showed E (from Edge?)
A reboot fixed the problem.

I also had the settings app crash numerous times, did a clean install which fixed this too.

I'm still having those "thermal not updating" logs on my 5S, still can't figure out if it's a hardware issue or software issue. I can't recreate it cause my logs are completely random, sometimes it's 1 minute between logs or 6 hours between logs. I even restored as new one time, didn't change a setting or install or transfer anything to my 5S for an hour and still got one log. I know the log is about the phone pinging for the temperature and it failed but 20+ logs a day is a bit excessive.

I just dug thru my logs on my 6P and I see the same multiple times a day. I didn't know it was there until I just checked so I'm not going to worry about it.

I've noted these logs on my Air, 5C and all 3 of my parents iPad Airs & mini as well. My Air was updated with a clean install through iTunes, while the'rents 3 iPads/mini as well as my 5C were done OTA. I didn't know they were there until another member, Emt, brought it up last week in the "have you upgraded your 5C to iOS 8" thread. Hubbys 5C was also done OTA but I haven't even looked into his.

Since then I haven't stressed over it at all because I didn't even know they were there and all devices are running great.

FWIW, when I was in the Apple store also last week, I just peeked in on a few 6's and 6+'s and they were showing the same error logs.

The settings app crashed a lot after the update. After doing a reset of all settings the problem has been fixed but now the geofence icon what was always on in the upper corner of my screen is off. Location services are enabled and I liked this feature as it used it for several things. Perhaps it's still at work but the icon is no longer visible.
