    Warning do NOT updated to 8.0.1 Yet - Potentially Lose Carrier / Phone Service.

    How can we update if it's already updated. When I plug in the phone to iTunes it shows it's already on 8.0.1.

    You tell iTunes to do a restore rather than check for update.

    Was trying that but kept doing nothing, so will have to resort to the new (old) ipsw file.
