Why is there a 2-second lag when answering calls after upgrading to iOS 8?

I've noticed that my phone is vibrating/ringing before I can see who's calling on the phone. It's very strange and this just began happening. This is on my 5s though!

I have the same annoying issue on my iPhone 5.
It started after upgrading to iOS 8.

There's a lot of lag for me. Along with the lag answering calls I also get a lag on notification sounds and the first time I take a picture the shutter sound never plays on the first photo but if I take another straight after the shutter sound plays. This happens regardless of what way I access the camera app and with front and rear cameras.

I've noticed once that the shutter sound didn't play when taking the initial photo, but it did on ever subsequent photo.

Same happens in my 5S with the initial photo like you said.
