I wont be upgrading to the i6 for a bit, so im wondering with my i5, what benefits does the Healthkit app provide me?

I understand the Healthkit app is ideal for the motion coprocessor which the i5 doesn't have.

Is the Healthkit useless on my i5?

Do you have other devices like the Fitbit? If so it should be able to update the info in HealthKit although it app may need an update. Likewise, apps that keep track of food intake and calories should be able to update it as well. You can also manually enter info in such as your weight, blood pressure, etc.

If you like running or cycling or similar you can use an app like Endomondo to track your fitness.
It has already been updated with HealthKit support and for example records how many calories you've lost during a training session.

    Best regards, Peter
