Anyone else having issues updating to iOS 8?

Anyone else having issues updating? Its taking FOREVER to connect to the sever to get an update or download...estimated time was 3 days. Does my phone being jailbroken have anything to do with this?

p.s. Pre-ordered my 6+....estimated delivery is 11/4....WTF?

Oh boy if your device is jailbroken you probably do t want to update OTA, do it using iTunes, after restoring your device, otherwise it's very likely you'll encounter an error or...ten. Besides you don't wanna restore your new iPhone 6 with a backup from a jailbroken device when it arrives.

I forgot to add I am still on 7.0.6. I can't get iTunes to download or update the iPhone. I've downloaded the ios 8 file from another place and it won't connect to the phone. I'm at a loss here, iTunes sees the phone, but will not update it or restore it.

I just updated my ipad with no issues OTA and it was done in 10 mins. My iphone 5 wont even recognize that there is a new update out to try OTA.
