Interesting take. I was not expecting Beta 6 today. With the rumored iPhone event 3 weeks away, I am expecting Beta 6 next week (08/25), and GM on 09/09 and GA release on 09/11.

Of course, I could be wrong. It would not be the first time.

One reason that's been thrown out there is because another beta could possibly give away iPhone 6 "secrets or unannounced features." Which makes sense, I guess.

No beta 6. Case closed. With the GM most likely dropping September 9th for developers, they haven't released another beta so close to the probable release date in recent years.

Yeah. iOS 7 beta 6 was released August 15th and the GM followed on September 10th.

I will not be putting Beta 5 back on my iPhone 5S. You are not able to create a "favorites" list under phone to use "do not disturb". Yes, I loaded it over a mac with "set up as new phone". If they don't release beta 6 to fix that - I can't use OS8 yet.

I have favorites, too. Not sure what the issue is. I checked DND and there’s still an option on my phone (iOS 8 b5) to allow favorites through DND.

I think that tomorrow could be a release date for beta 6, it could be still within time frame after beta 5 and before GM on September 9th. Last beta for iOS 7 was beta 6, released on August 15, 2013 (Thursday BTW), then GM came out on September 10th (26 days after last beta).

This time if iOS 8 beta 6 is released tomorrow it would be 21 days away from GM release date. So, let's wait and see what tomorrow will bring.

Now i doubt there is any beta 6. But it should be...Beta 5 is buggy...Some apps which were working in previous betas are not working....skype was perfect for me in previous betas but its crashing in this one...."My folder" is not opening at all....icloud is asking for passwords after few minutes....etc etc etc
