We wanted something like this, We wanted this, We asked for this and now that the complete package of Interactive Notifications has been explained and I happen to love it, What is your opinion and will it speed up the way you answer a notification? Will you actually stop to answer a Notification when you are in the middle of something or wait but now just not have to leave where you are?

I'm excited about it and I can't wait to start using it throughout my iPhone when iOS 8 is released and apps are updated to take advantage of the feature

I agree, pretty excited about it,think it may turn out to be very useful. on answering, it will depend on what the notification is and what I'm doing.

There are some trade offs. In iOS 7, I can pull down a notification from an email and read it. In iOS 8, I can only pull it down and mark it as read or delete it. That is a big trade off and bugs me. Same for quick reply...you must have message preview enabled for it to function properly. Let's keep in mind that it is beta and may change. Maybe if you previews disabled in messages, quick reply action will enable the preview for that one message. Ignore the notification or dismiss it, still no preview.

However the email notification change bugs me.

I'm a bit OCD about keeping my inbox tidy so I'll make full use of this feature. Very excited, can't wait.
