Is anyone having problems w the weather not showing on the notification center? I've seen screenshots w the app showing for ios 8 but I can't see it on mine I've tried setting n everything still nothing , help?

I ended up downloading the OTA & this beta has been worse than beta 1. I'm hoping I just had a bad install because my phone has had at least a dozen restrings since I got it & my music app has been freezing like crazy. I'm doing a clean install right now, so I got my fingers crossed!!

It's not going to work with other apps until after iOS 8 is officially released and the devs have updated the apps to use the new quick reply APIs.

And even then I'm not so sure. I've just started playing with the actionable notification APIs. You can definitely do custom actions, but so far, only with buttons, not a reply box. Some of the documentation mentions displaying pieces of UI but I'm not sure if that means displaying them in notification center (like a text box) or opening your app and displaying it.

You don't need to use iTunes to enable "genius" playlists anymore you can do it right on your iOS device

Update: if you take a snapshot while Grayscale is enabled, it just takes the snapshot with colors anyway.. So I'm not able to upload a screenshot of a Grayscaled screen

Has anyone checked out battery usage change by apps? I've read in Macrumors that "Last 24 hours and Last 7 days" in Beta 1 has changed to "Last 24 hours and Last 5 days" in Beta 2. Mine still says …7 days not 5.

Mine says 24hrs & last 6 days

Mine shows 24hrs & last 6 days

My iPhone 5S shows 7 days. My iPad Minir shows 6 days.
