Now, you can even write reviews for apps while on beta 2. I don't know why Apple allowed this.

I had a weird issue between the old Voice Control and Siri. I was in my car and long pressed home to get Siri. I was connected to the car via Bluetooth although I don't know if that's related or not. Instead of Siri, I got Voice Control. Even out of the car and Bluetooth range, I couldn't get Siri again until I rebooted the phone.

I've been have the voice control issue with Siri too, not in relation to Bluetooth or a car just in general. Sometimes I try to use Siri and voice control comes up. A reboot usually temporarily solves it.

And for some reason I keep getting this screen when accessing the Mail app. Anyone else getting this?

If I had trouble answering phone calls I would downgrade too. I hope they fix that in the next beta.

The problem with Whatsapp are likely to continue until ios8 is officially released and the whatsapp developers can release an update to fix the bugs

Developers don't have to update their apps just to make it work on a beta versions of iOS. It's the developers choice weather or not to update their app now or wait for the GM release.

Developers are supposed to use the beta period to make updates to their apps so that they will work on iOS 8. However, Apple will not let any updates to be released in the app store with iOS 8 API's until the software is officially released. That's why you usually have a ton of app updates available after a new version of the OS is released.

If apps don't work say in beta 1 but work in beta 2, this is not because the developer updated the app, it because Apple changed something in the iOS 8 beta code that allows the app to function again.

I gave beta 2 another shot for a couple of days. Last night I charged phone completely before bed and it was at 100%. Woke up today and it was at 59%. Battery is too wonky. Still running iOS 8 on my testing device(no sim) but no more on my primary device.

Weird, I don't have battery issues since beta 2. Beta 1 on the other hand, was a real battery draining one

Its hit or miss with me. One day it's decent and then next day its horrendous. Too inconsistent so I'll just use the beta for how its intended... on testing devices.

I've been in contact with some Whatsapp beta testers. Theirs beta versions of the app work with almost no glitches in iOS 8. They think and update could come out before official iOS 8 launch to the public. Current version of Whatsapp for iOS is 2.11.8, they are working in 2.11.9 as a intermediate update and 3.0 is expected when iOS 8 is out publicly.

I'll satisfied with beta 2. No random reboots or any other problems so far besides the keyboard being slower than usual. *knock on wood*

Excellent, but unfortunately, I had to revert back to 7.1.1 due to beta 2 not allowing me to answer incoming calls.

Maybe it's because I'm using it on my iPod. The only problem I have is the keyboard. It just disappears or scrolls up a page by itself. Sometimes text boxes disappear too.
