New iOS 8 APIs

Do you think devs will be able to submit applications to the App Store that take advantage of the new APIs before the offical launch of iOS 8? I'm pretty sure 3rd party keyboards will not be accepted until then, but what about adding extensions and widgets?

I'm loving the update, and less than 24hrs in - i want MORE!

Apple won't even start taking apps made for iOS8 until just before the time the Gold Master of the iOS gets released.

Good news is that major keyboard devs are already opening up betas.. so it wont be that long.
