I am curious how many people on here are actually reporting these bugs to apple (if bug reporter is functioning for them) and sending logs and such.
    I do. But I'm a registered developer.

Yes I have it as well. You can test the Beta, but you can not submit apps for OS X unless you have the OS X developer acct. I only have the iOS acct as well.

Anyone else have any complaints about it? I strongly dislike it because it removed all my events synced from iPhoto (whether I restored like new or updated from 7.1.1) as well removed the camera roll and named it recently added. Now when I did sync all of my photos that I wanted, it shoved them all in recently added with no organization whatsoever. Terrible.

I do like the fact that it does keep deleted photos into a trash bin (named recently deleted), but that's the only thing. Maybe they will update it during the beta process to work better with iPhoto by updating iPhoto itself on the Mac. However I suspect they may force iPhoto to be installed on iOS to show events.

For now, it's a mess and that's why I went back to iOS 7.1.1.

I cant get the bug reporter to work - after I enter my login credentials, it just stares at me. I think I have heard it laughing, as well.

That said, though, I have already reported several bugs via the developer portal. Its not just a good idea, its our responsibility.

Do these "Register your UDID" sites actually work? Can they do anything once they have your UDID?
Depends. There's one I've relied on in the past and it worked for both iOS 7 and iOS 8.

Does anyone know when the new iCloud storage prices will be available? They're not waiting until iOS 8 is released publicly, are they?

As mentioned in the keynote, free 5 gigs, 20 gigs a month is 99, $3.99 a month for 200 gigs......all the way up to a 1TB. No pricing available after 200 gigs.

Yeah. I mean when will we have the option to upgrade? I recently ran out of storage space and was looking to add more.

If they didn't give the update to the iPad 2 then the iPad mini may not have got the update aswell due to the specs, apple would have had ALOT of unhappy customers lol

It would be nice if you had quoted the post to which you are replying. It’s kind of hard to follow threads like this if you don’t.

Isn't it listed by Apple as the "iPad with Retina Display"? That's how it was on device compatibility slide in the presentation.
So the iPad 3 and iPad 4 are the same now?

Do iOS Devs usually get access to the OS X Beta as well? I've got a download code for Yosemite and i'm only registered as an iOS Dev.
I heard it was a beta that was different from last time, and you don't need a dev account, but I'm probably wrong. :P

Never mind. It's fully capable of supporting it. I got its internals confused with that of the 1st iPad.

You just need to sign up for the public beta testing program. The link was in the Keynote.

I discovered that auto brightness is broken. Which is causing major battery drain. I submitted the bug. Aside from that everything is working really well.
