Ringtone to assigned Contact not working

Hello..

All of a sudden a ringtone that was assigned to me wife stopped working when she calls it's the default ringtone that I have set up is what plays.Now I have this ringtone through Iphones 4-5 and all of the ios's that have come and gone.

I have rebooted..hard rebooted I have done a reset all settings and still no go..

Getting a little frustrated..!

1. Initiate the Contacts app
2. Locate your wife's contact information
3. Select "Edit" in the upper right corner
4. Scroll down to the "Ringtone" section and tap on it.
5. Select the desires ringtone
6. Select "Done" in the upper right corner

If the alert tone is indeed on the phone then it should work. If it is a custom ringtone, try re-syncing it. Other than that, the only thing left to do is a full restore / setup as new, but that's a little extreme for a ringtone problem, in my opinion. Still, if you have the time and want to cover all of your bases then that may be the way to go.

The tone is on the phone cant re-sync I'm on the road working... the phone is synced to my desk top at home so can't do that..Not the time for a full restore.. I appreciate your time and help.
