With IOS 7 introducing a ton of white space into the mix, should Apple consider making an an option 'dark theme' setting to offer choice to those who might not want so much white in their OS?

Heard iOS 7.1 is supposed to bring the dark keyboard as a choice in Accessibility. Maybe a dark theme to go with it...

I'm tempted to make a darker iOS 7 theme for jailbreak users but I have to wait until winterboard is updated for iOS 7 properly before I can start

Just changing the wallpaper and seeing the changes on the UI is enough for me... I really don’t care, either way...

Yes on a dark theme as long as it makes the icons background dark as well. I love dark wallpaper but on ios 7 you could see the transparent areas around the app icon.

So in short yes I would love a dark theme.

I made my own. Cover the camera lense, turn the flash off, and take a picture. Use it as your wallpaper. I have colorful icons on a black background. The bottom row background is dark gray. Try it. Takes about 10 seconds.

I actually like all the white. I really like the aesthetics of iOS7. At first I was hesitant, but I really like it now. Couldn?t go back to iOS 6 and other OSs just don?t look nice to me anymore.

The pure black background looks pretty good to me:

But then I tried a pure white background and it looks just weird:

But everyone has there own preference and I like the this as my background:

But I do agree with a darker theme option for iOS 7

Sure changing the wallpaper helps...but I don't know if you have noticed that there is NO transparency in the settings, photos and other menus, a black wallpaper doesn't change a thing there. So sure! I'd love to have a darker theme.
