Just to update my situation, I am having my battery replaced as I type this (on my iPad). Apparently my iPhone battery was bad due to some icloud issue, but I think the software update contributed to the battery's demise. Thank God I bought AppleCare. Ugh.

I went into an Apple repair shop and was told that my battery is fine. In and out within twenty minutes with no hassle. Man I love the service that this company provides. He punched in a few numbers into my phone, which automatically sent the information to his Mac Air, and all was shown to me in a very easy and informative manner. Said it could be an app I have, or the provider that I use. He said if it dies before midday, then I should bring it in to be replaced. I thanked him and all was done. My phones battery is bad I feel, but not enough to go through all that.
