I don't see where I can invite someone to a meeting in the new calendar

When creating an event, scroll down to "Invitees", tap on it, and then add the recipient.

You are referring to your i-device, right? If so, it should be there if you've updated it to iOS 7. Which i-device are you using?

I downloaded the ios 7 and it doesn't show invitees like the ios 6 did

Try rebooting your device to see if it will show up. I mean, I don't know what else to tell you.

Didn't work. My son also updated his iphone 5 with ios 7 and invitee doesn't show up in his calendar either. Thanks for trying though

I have an iPhone 5 with IOS 7 and when I goto my calendar the option of adding an invitee is definitely there. I had to scroll down to see the option.

Make sure calendar is on for your email accounts or iCloud. If there's no calendar associated w an email account, the invite option is gone. I just tested this by disabling calendar on my email accounts. Hope that helps!
