No sound on iMessage

When I am using the phone or apps and get a iMessage I hear the sound I assigned to it. If the phone is not being used and the screen is black, I get no sound notification or alert on screen and don't know that I received one till I click on the Home button and my Lock Screen is active.

From looking at the screenshots, you appear to have the Do Not Disturb feature enabled.
