Sorry if this has been answered a thousand times already but is this possible? I heard it's not? Is that true? I'm on iPhone 4S if that makes any difference?
    Thanks

Yes, it is possible. Many people who were previously running iOS 7 beta downgraded back to iOS 6.x.x and then upgraded to the public release of iOS 7 when it became available. You can also delete the ipsw file off of your computer, put your device in DFU mode and then select restore to install iOS 7. That's what I did. Anyway, if you need instruction on how to downgrade from iOS 7 beta to iOS 6.x.x, just follow the instructions found via the following link.

iOS 6.1.4 was for iPhone 5 only, so not, that isn't possible. But if you have the .ipsw for 6.1.3, you should be able to get there while Apple is still signing it... but do it quickly, because with iOS 7 out for 24+ hours, it’s doubtful that they will be signing it for much longer... you must use DFU mode.

I’ve seen several tweets recently from reliable sources that say Apple has stopped signing 6.1.3 and 6.1.4. There is no going back at this point.
