    you can change appointments simply by touching them for a second with your finger and then dragging them down or up. like this:

    I have also found on the iPhone, click on the month to put it in month mode. Then you just have to turn the phone to landscape (rotate the phone 90 degrees in your hand) and the calendar pops to weekly mode. You can go back and forth with it.
