Battery life improvement! GPS/Background Apps

I'm sure some people are aware that there are new location services in iOS 7. I found "frequent locations" to be a huge battery hog, acquiring my location every time the phone is unlocked.. By disabling all system services location services (except compass calibration), I noticed a marked improvement, on par with iOS 6.. I also disabled the background app refresh for the weather app due to its use of location services when it periodically updates... Hope this helps!
