iOS 7 Developer Build Game Controller Support

What does everyone think about this feature?

This for me is one of the most exciting features in ios7 I have quite a large selection of games but quickly get annoyed with touch screen controls. Being able to play games like N.O.V.A, GTA, Fifa etc etc with a real control pad is a big big plus.

Playing games through an Apple TV using this feature is going to be great and will rival if not better the new kids on the block Ouya, gamestick etc.

I've been waiting years for this and can't wait to see what the game devs come up with.

I'm not a big gamer but I can definitely see the appeal in being able to use a control pad for various games like the ones you mentioned.

How would the game controller work? I connect it to my TV? Or to the IOS device via bluetooth?

This is what Real Racing, GTA and Fifa look like airplayed to a 42inch tv hate to say it because I own a Ouya but apple have just made all of the android based consoles obsolete with the mention of the controller feature in ios7

This is apparently a leaked picture of what Logitech might be producing looks cool Iam interested to see what the standalone controller looks like I want something as close as possible to a Xbox 360 controller
