Not sure if this is a bug with gmail or iOS, but I googled it and couldn't find anything so maybe one of you can help. When I get a gmail notification and click it, it shows the message as read in the actual app, but when I pull down the notification bar, the notification still exists. This is using the official gmail app on iOS 7.1.1 on an iPhone 5c. All my other apps that send notifications via push don't have this problem. Any ideas?

Although I do not use the official Gmail app for iOS, I can only assume it is a bug. Have you tried sending feedback to Google?

I did submit that. Before I did though, I wanted to see if it was a setting I missed somewhere and just had to turn it on. Thanks though

I think it's a bug. I also noticed that sometimes if I get more than one emails and I read only one, all the notifications remain in the notification center. But they disappear after I read all the messages.
