Faulty battery % indicator in iOS 7.1.1?

The indicator doesn't seem to be accurate. For example, yesterday I charged till 84%. Then I used the pad for round about 45 mins, and it remained at 84%. I have a similar issue with my Windows Phone, but that was said to be due to inefficient coding.

What can you say about this? Are there any fixes?

Really? Mine goes from 100 to 98% withings about. Minute of using then starts dropping fairly quickly if I'm still surfing the net/twitter ect.

Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage [ OFF ]

I Can't stand to watch it change. It honestly impacts my enjoyment of the device.
