And I just discovered another unwanted effect from my visit to the Genius Bar. I now have a bogus iCloud tab in Safari on both my iPhone and iPad, claiming to be an open tab on "Apple's iPhone". How do I get rid of this?

Per Apple's requirements for my visit, I had wiped the phone. They installed a diagnostic app on the phone via an Apple account in iTunes.

The phone was re-wiped when I got home. And to the best of my recollection, the iPad did not go online during that time.

How can I get rid of this bogus iCloud tab?

it disappears after 5-7days. If you don't want to get those tabs for non used devices, so next time before erasing your iDevice, close any opened Safari tabs.
