Obviously some people were affected negatively by motion sickness with iOS 7. iOS 7.1 has more accessibility options to control this, reducing transparency, increasing contrast, even freezing weather animations. I'd like to know what do you do with the animations and reduce motion options.

Although the animations didn't make me feel ill or anything, I opted to select the reduce motion option because I didn't find the animations appealing.

I've had reduce motion on for several months, but I like the weather animations. So, I've turned off reduce motion for now. I get tired of the zooming and animations though. I'll probably end up with reduce motion on again.

I had it in for the list part because they were dragging but since the update I turned it off again.

Never had motion sickness but didn't like the wallpaper parallax effect (and the associated battery drain) so mine now configured as such:

    [Reduce Transparency = Off]
    [Increase Contrast = Off]
    [Reduce White Point = On]
    [Reduce Motion = On]
    [Perspective Zoom = Off]

What's the advantage of the white point?

Same here I don't see a problem with it.

Brings some style to the OS

I love them. They're actually one of my favorite things about iOS 7.

It's supposed to tone down the brightness or white backgrounds. I don't see much difference.

There is a slight difference... But only if I have auto bright on along with that setting....

Works better at night and more noticeable... But a all (Flat) black version would work good... That way users can select what (Theme) they may want...

I had the animations turned off in 7.0 because they were too slow for me. The slight increase in animation speed has led me to turn the animations back on with 7.1.

It is like I answered in a similar thread I like things just the way they are not being a big fan of animations on phones or at least very little.

Agreed! They don't make me seasick and I do enjoy them. The zoom I find useful for keeping a sense of place when navigating through my many app folders, the parallax is neat but not as useful. My parents however are using 4Ss and they appreciate the updates immensely for less eye strain and possible battery savings.

On both the iPhone and iPad I have all settings under accessibility default but I have the zoom on my wallpapers turned off as I hate the parallax effect.
