Delete All emails

It would be great if there was an option to delete all emails from my inbox, I get 100s and once I have filtered out the ones I want and stored them safely I just want to click, edit, select all, delete. Instead of tapping each one individually.

Is there a way I can do this?

Don't mean to jump over 'Ds answer to you but can I ask you what email you are using? This answer is if you answer gmail. You can shut off Archived mail and toggle that of, that way you can hit the edit button and select them one at a time and send them directly to the trash folder and delete them. Once again if you are using gmail. Thanks for asking.
