Yup this is why we never ever trust speed tests. That I can always tell when the Internet is getting slow throughout the day but its gotten much harder and lately I haven't been able to tell since they upgraded to docsis 3.0.

Was there a WiFi problem specific to the iPhone 5? My iPad (3rd gen.) seems to be plagued with WiFi issues. Not my phone.

Maybe u have a half defective chip in your iPad. The wifi issues for me on the i5 was slow data on 5ghz when at a distance from the router and random dropping of networks and forgetting of networks sometimes. It seems defiantly better now.

This update was for iPad mini and i5 but I never had wifi issues previously. Everything still seems the same.

I updated my iP5 yesterday wi-fi connection is ok (when it gets it) but my "problem" has always been this: my iP5 does not detect all the wi-fi connections nearby as good as my iPod does.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1355946781.553158.jpg

Here a pic from phone now on 6.0.2 and iPod on 6.0 both on the same spot, ipod detects home signal and some others while iPhone does NOT!!!

Maybe the iPhone 5 just has a weaker WiFi chip hence why it doesn't detect all the networks?

I think the update helped me.
My issue was that if I changed wifi networks it would not connect (?) to the prior one. This mainly happened when I went from my work network to home. The wifi bars would show full strength but the phone was not downloading any data. I would have to completely the the phone off and back on to have it connect to my home router

I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing this. I have been feeling like the ip5's wifi reception is weaker than the ip4s' since I got the the ip5. The update didn't seem to help it.

I only updated my iPhone but not my iPod Touch, my iPod Touch is on iOS 6.0.1 and my iPhone 5 is on iOS 6.0.2

I'm not noticing any. Major change in wifi, however I never had a problem to begin with really. My issue is that ever since the update I will drop lte completely and not be able to re-establish an LTE connection until I restart my phone. HIGHLY annoying especially while trying to stream music
