first iphone ever

hi i just got a new iphone 4 in the mail today and it already has ios6.0.1 on it.
i tried to jailbreak it and i cant because it says missing keys plist .......
i went to extras to do the iswp and it cant find the ios 6.0 firmware. how do i get this firmware on my pc so i cant let it open it to do the bug fix.
