You'd think they'd have repaired the auto brightness on the 4S
Just updated..and it breaks the Facebook app for me. I enter the Facebook app, and it closes immediately every time.
My girlfriend and I both updated to 6.0.1 this afternoon on our AT&T 16GB iPhone 5's. Neither of us had problems with the Facebook app before the iOS update. Afterwards, ine is fine, but her Facebook app crashes after opening. Not immediately, but as soon as she starts to scroll down the screen.
On her phone can she access via safari ?
And for the developers in the crowd... just saw on Twitter: iOS 6.1 beta 1. Developers, start your downloads.
This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including:
- Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air
- Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard
- Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off
- Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks
- Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances
- Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
- Fixes a Passcode Lock bug which sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen
- Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings

That's the problem I been having. The brightness doesn't adjust to the lighting in the room. If I'm outside it gets bright, but it doesn't change indoors.

Read the update I posted and give it a try.
Thanks D that worked. Just tested it and the brightness gradually turned down back to the setting I had it. That sure wasn't working for me before. Happy it's working now.

UPDATE: If I move the lever to the point where I do not want the brightness to go below then it definitely works as it should. It increases in bright light situations and then slowly return to the level I set in low light situations. I'm pleased with it.
