I am using some foreign words which always get corrected. Drives me nuts.
Is there a way to get those words into the dictionary so iOS6 will accept them and leave them alone?
Thx

There are 2 different things that you can do so I will name them both for you... Actually I will tell you how to correct and then send you a link here that will explain what you asked.

Go to this link to see how to add words to the dictionary itself.

iOS 5: How to add words to the auto-correct dictionary — Apple News, Tips and Reviews

Good luck and let me know if this works for you.

This is how you can correct words as you type that are not already in the dictionary when you get the red underline:

Control (ctrl) click the underlined word and select 'Learn Spelling'.

PS On the link I sent you to it is not needed to add a shortcut, Just put in the word you want or name.

The shortcut is if you wanted to do like OMW= On My Way or :) = a smiley face. I think you get it.
