    Hello everyone,

    Is been a couple of months since I upgraded from a 3G to a 3GS from AT&T.

Its a completely stock iPhone running iOS 5.1.1.

Its happened a few times that accidentally the dock will enter into scrolling mode
and I do not have a clue how to duplicate it.

I have searched the web and this forum to avail.

All I find is jailbreaks to do it which I dont think its needed and I wouldn't want anyway.

    Many TIA

Sounds like you're talking about multitasking? Double click Home button and you can scroll through recent apps in the area where you usually see your dock.

The dock itself doesn't scroll on a stock phone, only the multitasking tray that lives "behind" the dock.

    Awesome!

Sometimes it's hard to find the right term.

    Thank you very much!

Sure! If you haven't used it before, also try swiping left to right while in the multitasking traythe last pane on the left will be music controls and a rotation lock toggle.

This is also how you can close apps and free up memory to speed up the phone.
