i also think the OP is wrong! Why would Apple take something from Windows7?

think about it a dynamic icon would be considered different from android and if done right would be decidedly different from windows mobile. plus with the hiring of Jon Micheal cart last year I'm almost sure this will happen along with a new home screen.

I definitely do not see SpringBoard changing anytime soon. I'm not saying it's impossible, but just look at OS X

ye that's very true but osx only really has to compete with windows, while in the mobile world IOS faces more competition and different user experiences and while the os as a whole doesn't have to change adding to the springboard in itself can be easily done to enhance the experience

I like windows 7 dynamic icons, I think it would be pretty handy if apple introduce this feature. let's see if apple do something similar or better on this section.
