    Hye,

glad to join the community here.

I'm having the following issue. I would like to record lectures on my 4G ipod touch running iOS 5.01, but i'd like to have them encoded directly in mp3.

Now this seems to be very difficult in the iOS world.
I've been skimming for all audio recording apps in iTunes, but none seems to encode directly into mp3 (AIFF, WAV) some offer (painstakingly slow) conversion to other formats..

    So :

    1. any existing app that does record directly to mp3?
    2. if not, is there a way to change the settings of the VOICE MEMO APP, which automatically records to 64 kbt/s @ 44,100kHz in AAC format?

    thanks for any help
