Yeah, something's wrong there, unless you were talking on the phone for four hours. Mines about to die, so I decided to take another:

You answered your own question though. You're doing close to 7 hrs of usage in 1 day, it takes him 2 days to do that.

oops. i just got excited when i saw 2 days of standby and 9 hours of use, make sense now though

Another update with 10% charge left in the battery. The settings an usage are in my prior post. I am close to hitting 10 hours usage and 24 hours stand by.

Just before the phone died at 2%. Did not make the 10 hours usage but I did make the 1 day stand by. This is with very heavy use. The phone is practically glued to my hand

yes but keep in mind its going to erase everything on your phone...

yes but towards the end of the process, when given the option, you'll be asked if you want to restore from a backup or setup as new. obviously set up as new

This is the most usage that I have ever received with any of my smartphones so far. iOS 5.0.1 on my iPhone 4 has been very good after the 3'rd battery cycle.

For those getting nice long battery life...do you use location services? I had mine off but just turned it on for urban spoon and maps only.

I keep location services on on as well as WiFi. I still get great battery life.

I thought that I would share my battery usage. This is with quite minimal usage and with nothing turned off!

np, i like to help when i can as i learn more and more along the way. We all have our methods and things that we're set on doing or trying out, to try to solve what ever issue is going on ATM. What solution works for some, may not work for others.

Either way, we always find what works best for ourselves and sharing that with others at times helps benefit them as well

OK I don't know what happened but now it's actually on the 4th day and I'm @ 54% with the 1 hr train rides and regular use
