Syncing Edited iPhone Photos

I am using iOS 5's photo editing and I was wondering if there is a way to sync the edited photos over to my Windows 7 PC?

I assume it's no different than transferring images that aren't edited. But connect your phone, go to my computer then into your phone. All your pictures and videos will be there.

When you transfer edited photos using the built in function, you get the unedited file. I don't know why. I just been emailing it to myself.

Sounds like apple is using a neat trick in that you have your original image, then the metadata attached that shows what was done to edit it. This way the extra data is tiny and you don't have two images taking up space. When you email the pic the iphone takes the photo, applies the edits and makes a new image in memory to send. Clever.
