I couldnt find this anywhere in the forums, but is there a difference between the GM and the update that came through on Wednesday? I'm unable to update through ota or connected to itunes. It tells me that 5.0 is the current version.

In the About section on my phone, it says Version 5.0 (9A334). Is that what everyone's got?

Yes, they are exactly the same. The GM (Gold Master) is the version that was sent to the manufacturer to be put on the iPhone 4S at the factory.
