you can pick your own FYI but to activate making your own and then a list of like 5 others go into Settings > General > Accessibility and it says "Custom Vibration" turn this on and then go back to Sounds

So was I right? Did the vibration change on text message alerts with the update or is it only my phone? Lol. My question is the vibration changed to the double vibration right when the software ios5 downloaded correct?

Well I got my Verizon iPhone 4 in February and the double vibration just changed when I downloaded the new ios5 software. Anyone else with Verizon know what I'm talking about? So AT&T has always had double vibration when receiving a text message?

The double vibrate started with 4.3, so it makes sense that Verizon users didn't get it...the last firmware for you guys was 4.2.10, right? I don't think there was a 4.3.x for you?

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by the double vibrate as well, but I think it'll make it easier to feel when I get a text message.
