11 hour iOS 5 download for iPad 2?

I'm currently in the process of downloading iOS 5 for my iPad 2. Its currently downloading the software and says "11 hours remaining". What the hell is that? Is that for real?

I upgraded my iPhone 4 earlier this evening and didn't have any such ridiculous download time on the status bar.

I soon after got a server error. After that I closed out iTunes and restarted it. Now everything seems to be going fine and a 6 minute download time. I guess the servers are still getting slammed.
