NewsStand Question

If you download a free app from newsstand such as the new york times will it ask you if you want to update or will it automatically charge you for the new issue in the backgroud? anyone who knows for sure please shed some light

It irks me that you can't put the newsstand into a folder.

(Sorry. Not helpful, I know. Just had to get it off my chest.)

I can't get the magazines on my iPads newsstand to show up on my iPhone!
