Is it possible to have calendar alerts show up in the notification center but not have upcoming calendar appointment show in notification center?

Without having been alerted for a calendar appointment the notification center shows upcoming appointments. I would like notification center to not show upcoming appointments but still show alerts that have happened.

I do not wish to see a list of upcoming appointments. What is so hard to understand? Seems like you guys are just trying to be jerks.
