    yes...i did do that...but sometimes when the person doesn't have access to data network for whatever reason my message wont go thorugh...
    can't have my cake and eat it too...i get that

    Turn off Settings->Messages->Send as SMS
    If you do as suggested, will the imessage be sent when the recipient has data coverage, or is it then never sent?

    I think it's sent when the person is back on data. Similar to bbm

    I like it but I kinda wish it was a separate thing like bbm. It's also nice because I don't have unlimited texting
