So far I have noticed the OS is much faster, much more responsive than the last beta IMO.

Hmmmm....I seem to have an issue with playing YouTube videos in safari. It just spins and spins....

Also, why does the tipb website never actually load the desktop version when I click on the link at the bottom that says switch to regular theme? It always loads the garbage mobile site.

I was out of the house all day. On the way to dinner I got a popup saying there was an update ready, so while waiting to order I did the update. No wipe, no preparation. Picture attached to prove total nerdness (in case there was still any question).

So far everything is working perfectly, but I haven't run through much. Photos are all there, camera is working faster than before.

DUMB QUESTION. I planned on wiping anyways but, is there any difference if I just dl the file and option restore? It doesn't seem like that should create issues if I wipe, option+restore, then restore from a backup...right?

I am not sure what the reasoning is behind the instructions... but I am now updating my iPod OTA without wiping the settings... as I did for my iPhone and iPad... no side effects noted.

Any serious webkit issues? I read the change log and the client side SSL certificate possible failure makes me...rather hesitant, but I hate 4.3.5 even more...so, has anybody encountered serious issues with Safari yet? I know this hasn't been out for that long, but just wondering what people have run into so far.
Nothing serious on my wifi ipad2.

Update, the Google+ application crashes when you try to access anything from the splash.
Meh...I usually use g+ on my computer anyways...perhaps b6 will fix?

due to my camera being a little wonky i decided to restore as new device. that threw me into an iTunes error 3194, which was corrected by editing my host file

seems to be a trend; do OTA update, then restore as new when i get the chance

camera now working great! battery life still great!

also it seems WiFi sync is considerably faster than before, for me

I wiped my phone because it wouldnt show the new update. After it loaded again i restored from back up and updated to beta 5 but now its taking forever to finish reloading everything. Its been 2 hours and i still only have 7 of 800 pictures back on my phone. Also google+ is crap on my iphone, it crashes 100% of the time. Anyone else had similar luck?

Google+ issue is exactly that. a Google+ issue

regarding your photo sync, i would stop it. sync to remove and then attempt to resync all of them again. probably wouldnt hurt to reboot the device before loading photos

I loaded via iTunes. Wife loaded OTA. Wife still had bugs carry over from beta 4 that didn't for me. Restored wife's via iTunes and it fixed those bugs. I recommend restoring via iTunes and not OTA for beta 5 if you want the best experience.
