Was to be expected. They have fixed the worst stuff already, only fine tuning the rest of the code. Hopefully they’ll be able to fix mail too before official release.

I'm not commenting on Mail other than this comment for another day. Previous betas seems like I declare that it works within an hour then it goes to its stupid little quibbles.

Very small watchOS beta 8 update seems to have been released as well.

macOS Catalina still on beta 6. However I’m having minimal to zero issues with my MacBook Pro (minus battery life being not great (but not horrible))

I wasn’t expecting an update today, but hey, I’ll take it. I installed it at work today just before preparing for a conference call.

Beta 8 fixed my audio issues when paired to my car and seems to have solved all of my stock email issues. This was a very small update but it seemed to key on all of my biggest complaints. Glad my feedback to apple was listened too. Or at least maybe many others reported the same issues. Very happy with the build.

Mail still sucks. Notification badges aren't always correct. If I get an email notification and I tap on it, it opens mail as normal. However when it opens, the new email(s) aren't there until after a couple of seconds. In iOS 12, it's already there in the inbox when I open mail. This applies to Exchange as that's where I get the vast bulk of my email. At this point in the betas, this type of longstanding bug shouldn't be around. I've removed and re-added exchange several times to no avail.

Stock keyboard and spotlight keeps freezing. I’ve reinstalled a fresh version of beta 8 and wiped my phone. I’ll try once more but idk
