Probably the feature that most excites me in iOS 13 is text formatting in Mail, including the ability to select different font styles.

My question is, has anyone found a way to set a specific font as the default font? I've been messing around with the public beta and have yet to discover such an option. It would be strange if Apple did not give us such an option.

I never use different fonts in email. I send all email as plain text. Maybe someone else has experience or an answer.

I haven’t tried different fonts yet. That I will like.

Apple doesn't allow a change of system-wide fonts. However, in iOS 13, we can download fonts to be used in apps. There's a place in Settings to keep and manage these fonts. It's not yet available, but should be by September.

Seems like signatures are still as lame as ever though. Can’t easily create email signature.

Another issue I have with this is that whilst you can change the font size, you have no way of knowing which size you have chosen, unlike say Spark or Airmail. It is very random, and surprisingly very half way house from Apple.
